As the jet-lag has finally begun to wear off (thanks to last night’s choice of cocktail/the greasy food this morning) I’m already reminiscing about the spectacular trip D and I just got back from.

The amount of people we’ve met through restaurants or just sitting by the pool was truly fascinating. As it turns out, we met a few people from the US, even Denver- you know who you are @mama_h_j! I think it just goes to show that you can meet important people everywhere you go. It could be business connections or maybe just a friend, but somehow you have something in common because you’re at the same place at the same time.

I’m ever-thankful to every kind person we asked for directions or passed on the streets of each different country and continent we spent our holiday on. There are a lot of factors that go into having a good vacation and a huge part of it is your surroundings. The hospitality received was undeniably helpful at each hotel we stayed at, so if you ever get an inkling to stay in Maui, Auckland, Sydney or Fiji I would recommend each of the following:

Maui Four Seasons, Sofitel Auckland, Pier One Sydney Harbor, LikuLiku Lagoon Fiji

K well I’ve got to go because I’ve been summoned by a two year old to sit down and let her take my vitals.

xx
