Justin Bieber got vulnerable in a freshly revived clip, where he sat for a very candid podcast interview with The Zach Sang Show.
Bieber can be seen in the live-streamed podcast, in a very up-close and personal shot, where he unfolds his thoughts and feelings about the veracity of opening himself up to public scrutiny, despite having been a household name for over a decade.
During the interview, Bieber admits to having some hesitation before blasting the album, which was released last March, to his whopping 257 million Instagram followers.
“I don’t know if Hailey wants me to share this,” Bieber admitted, before gushing about the moment before he was to publish his newest album, Justice, which was released last year.
It’s no secret that the Biebers have been a topic of public affairs, given the fact that both of them were thrust into the spotlight at very young ages. We’ve seen the “Love Yourself” singer grow in faith, and love with his now wife, Hailey Bieber, who he met on set of the Today Show, when they were just tweens.

So, one can imagine, that even with all the glamour, the money, the security; even if it’s your job, it’s still unnerving to expose your projects, and open yourself up to scrutiny on something you’ve put your heart and soul into.
“The big thing, that was kind of hard, and I’m going to be completely honest, I don’t know if Hailey wants me to share this, but like, at the very end, I’m like, putting in my album, and she’s like, ‘I don’t know if if I love it top to bottom.'”
The mega-star, who was discovered by Scooter Braun after the now super-star had a failed attempt at a singing competition back in 2007, and began posting YouTube videos of himself, admitted that he was nervous to publish the album after his wife showed signs of hesitation.

“I’m like What!” Bieber recoils as he puts his hands on his head and laughs.
“And she’s like, ‘I don’t know,’ and I think that it’s because, for me, as an artist, when you’re living with something for a long period of time, things can become old to you, and it’s so new to fresh ears.”
The former millennial heart-throb continued to defend his wife’s cautioning, “She’s been listening to it every day, because it’s like a part of my job, so she’s hearing these same songs constantly.”
Bieber denotes the fact that it’s his job to listen to the same 30 songs over, and over again, and it’s easy to think the songs went stale when in reality, you’re just sick of hearing them. During the 26-minute interview, the “Holy” singer talked about his process, and how he hopes the album was as cohesive, but it was “up to the listener to decide.”
“At the end, she’s just like ‘I just want to protect you, and I love you, I want people to love it, are you sure?'”
Bieber leans back in his chair as he answers with a charmingly nervous laugh, “and I’m like, Well now I’m not!”
“Because the person that I want to love it the most is telling me, that you don’t know if it’s good, top to bottom!”
Before changing subjects, he did note that he was able to stay strong in his discernment and realized that his beloved wife was just having ‘cold feet.’
